About McKlein - Headquartered in Chicago, McKlein was founded by Parinda Saetia in 1997 while she was still attending Babson College in Wellesley, MA. Parinda, who was steeped in the family tradition of crafting quality cases from her earliest memory, wasn’t just starting a company; she was continuing a family tradition. While she attended her final year of college, her brother Chettha Saetia, a 1996 graduate of Syracuse University, operated the company while keeping his eye on his dream of designing cases full time. Parinda assumed daily management responsibilities upon her graduation in 1998 and Chettha realized his dream of focusing on design. The McKleinUSA brand was conceived in 1998. From its inception, the McKleinUSA brand was marked as an architect of progress for mobile designs. The first case the brand engineered was the patented 12295 Wheeled Multiple-Access Computer Catalog Case. According to Chief Designer and Vice President of McKleinUSA, Chettha Saetia, the March 1998 Travel Goods Association (TGA) show in Washington DC first put McKleinUSA on the map. Saetia chose this show to launch his innovative creation of wheeled cases for business professionals, at a time when only wheeled luggage cases were available on the market. Not only was he the first to introduce wheel business cases to the market, but he has since designed the largest selection of professional wheeled cases, in the world, including: business cases, computer cases, catalogue cases, and back packs.
